Gene Scher, President

Gene has over 30 years of direct marketing and entertainment licensing experience. Prior to forming Sharewell, Gene started and grew Pioneer PacficList Marketing into one of the largest direct response list marketing companies on the west coast. Gene also formed and grew November, Lazar & Scher which was an entertainment licensing firm. During his tenure, Gene launched Skybox which was later sold to Fleer/Marvel. He also become partners with Donruss Trading Cards and did licensing programs for numerous entertainment franchises including: The Lion King, Star Trek, the NBA and Marvel. Prior to November, Lazar & Scher Company, Gene was with Wallen, Green & Scher Direct which served entertainment studios with direct marketing services. From 1980 through 1989, Gene formed a number of direct response entities, one of which, Advanced Management Company, grew to become one of the the nation's largest list management company and was later sold to his business partners. Gene is a graduate of Hunter College and later completed his Master's Program at Manhattan College.

Michael Scher, COO

Mike has over 30 years of advertising experience in a wide variety of direct-to-consumer verticals including: internet, direct response television, insurance, beverages, banking, cosmetics, magazines and automotive. As COO of Sharewell Group, Mike oversees both new business development and key account management. Mike's extensive background in developing comprehensive marketing programs and new revenue streams for clients ranging from AOL and Chase Manhattan Bank to Bermuda Star Lines and Seagram's enables him to easily create new business opportunities for Sharewell clients. Prior to Sharewell, Mike, as co-owner, built up Pioneer Pacific into one of the nation's largest and most respected list management firms. Mike, as an owner of Feature Graphics, a powerhouse graphics art firm on Manhattan, served such clients as: Absolute, L'Oreal/Lancome, Fischer Price and Godiva Liqueur.

Jeff Mirkin

Jeff Mirkin is one of the television industry’s most accomplished game and reality show producers, with over 1200 hours of broadcast and cable television to his credit. Mirkin has produced some of TV’s biggest game and gambling show hits, including Fox;s Greed, GSN’s Poker Royale and NBC’s remake of Let’s Make a Deal. Jeff also served a 5 year stint as Senior Vice President of Development and Production at FremantleMedia, producer of American Idol.

More recently he has teamed up with entertainment industry icons Pat Sajak as a principal in the highly successful website PatSajakGames.com, and Mirkin also teamed with Kenny Rogers on his The GamblerMobile.com.

A versatile professional, Mirkin has produced a best-selling industrial video and has authored hundreds of pages of web content, worked with top talent agency Triad Artists, Inc and created a highly praised video game distributed through Atari.
