Web Designer

Sharewell Group, Inc., a Calabasas-based web design, development and marketing firm, is currently looking for several highly creative and talented Web Designer and Jr. Web Designer to join our team. This is a full time in house position.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce web sites according to in-house standards
  • Create detailed design and functional specifications, storyboards, page flows, wire frames mockups
  • Collaborate with creative director and developer teams to implement designs
  • Convert design mockups to code – XHTML and CSS
  • Maintain and update existing websites

Required Skills and Experiences

  • Superior Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop most)
  • Strong knowledge of web design and web layout principles
  • Fanatical attention to detail and eye for design and layout
  • Good understanding of web usability
  • Experience with browser compatibilities
  • Possess web skills such as graphics optimization, XHTML and CSS
  • Experience with Movable Type, WordPress or any Blogging apps a plus
  • Experience with Print or video production a plus
  • Experience with Flash a plus

The candidate will work in a team environment, and also work with the creative director and business development to build and maintain clients’ sites.
